Maria Almeida has worked with hair since 1995.
That is thirty years in the profession. Along the way she completed several professional courses in New York — the Toni&Guy Academy among them — and brought that training to her salon in West Hartford.
From a kid's trim to a full set of extensions, every appointment starts with a close look at your hair: what it can take, what it needs and what will work in your daily routine. Maria works with Truss and Wella, the same professional lines she sells at the salon.

Before you come in
Don't see your question? Send a message.
Do you speak Portuguese?
Yes. Service is available in both Portuguese and English.
Do I need an appointment?
Booking ahead is recommended to secure your time — especially for color, extensions and smoothing, which take longer. Book on WhatsApp or by phone.
How much does each service cost?
It depends on the length, volume and condition of your hair. Send a photo on WhatsApp and Maria will give you a recommendation and a price before you book.
How long does keratin or a progressive blowout last?
It varies with your hair type and home care. At your consultation Maria explains what to expect and recommends products to make the result last.
Can I get extensions if my hair is fine?
In most cases, yes — but the method and amount depend on your hair. That's why Maria checks your hair before planning the application.
Do you cut men's and kids' hair?
Yes. Men's and kids' cuts are part of the salon's regular services.
Which products do you sell?
Truss and Wella professional lines — the same ones used in the chair.
